Joining, replying and your wedding page
Find the couple's website, enter your invitation code, send your reply, and use Reply, The day, Gifts, Photos and Updates.
You'll need two things from the couple: their wedding website address, and an invitation code. The address ends in wedded.me and looks something like yournames.wedded.me. The code is printed with it, often one code for the household.
There is no app to download. You use the website in your browser, then come back with the same email and password.
I'm a guest, where's my wedding?
Wedding websites are not listed in search, so searching for the couple's names will not find the page.
On weddedway.com, choose Invited to a wedding? That page is headed Invited to a wedding? and explains how to find your couple's address.
- Find the address on your invitation or save-the-date.
- Open it in your browser. Type it into the address bar at the top, not a search box.
- Enter your invitation code. Choose RSVP, type the code, and create your guest account. Already registered? Log in with the email you used.
If you can't see an address on the invitation, ask the couple to send it.
Join and send your reply
On the couple's website:
- Choose RSVP. Sign in is the other tab, for when you already have an account.
- Enter the Invitation code and choose Continue. One code is often shared for the same part of the day. Capital letters don't matter.
- Answer Will you be attending? with Yes, I'll be there or Sorry, I can't make it.
- Add your name, the email you'll use to log in, and Choose a password. Dietary notes and any extra questions are there when the couple has asked for them.
- Choose Submit RSVP. If we email you a check, the button says Verify email and submit RSVP.
You then land on your wedding page for that couple.
You can sign in again later and change your reply until the couple closes it. Meal choices and accommodation, if the couple has turned them on, are not on this first form. They appear under Your reply after you're in.
Your wedding page
The icons along the side are Home, Reply, Day, Gifts, Photos and Updates. Home is also titled Welcome, and sums up what to do next.
Reply opens Your reply.
- RSVP is your answer, and where you update it.
- Menu is where you pick dishes, once the couple has turned meal choices on.
- Accommodation is where you say where you're staying, or reserve a room they've offered. It only shows when they've turned it on.
Day opens The day: times, places and the wedding party.
- Schedule is the running order. If the couple hasn't set a time yet, you'll see Time to be confirmed.
- Venue & travel is the address and how to get there.
- Wedding party is the people they've listed.
Gifts shows gift ideas and any money links, when the couple has added them. If they haven't, there is nothing to browse yet.
Photos is where you share and look at wedding photos. Choose Upload photo under Share a photo. A photo may appear after the couple approves it. You'll only see photos they've approved.
Updates is their news and their questions.
- News is messages they've published, such as a timing change.
- FAQ is their answers, including anything they've written about what to wear.
Open the account menu beside your name. Profile opens the page titled Your account. Log out is in the same menu. You can also search Find a page… for Your account.
What to do next
Keep the website address. You'll need it whenever you come back. If something on the day changes, check Updates before you travel.
