Your web address
The address guests type to open your wedding website, and how to change it.
Guests open your wedding website at an address that ends in wedded.me. A typical one looks like yournames.wedded.me. That is the link to put on invitations and save-the-dates, together with an invitation code.
The planner, where you manage the wedding, is separate. Guests do not use that. They use the wedded.me address.
Where to find it
On Website, open Website design. The address is in the bar at the top. Choose Copy to put it on your clipboard. Copied shows when that has worked.
To send guests their code with the address, use Share invitations, then Copy invitation on the code you want.
Choosing it when you create the wedding
On the first sign-up step we suggest an address from your first names. Choose Change to edit Your website address. The hint says to pick something guests will remember, using letters, numbers and hyphens only.
We'll show Checking…, then This address is available or That address isn't available. You need an available address before you can continue, unless you leave the suggestion as it is.
Changing it later
On Website design, choose Change address.
- Edit the name in Choose your address. The wedded.me ending stays put.
- Wait until you see This address is available.
- Choose Save address. Cancel puts the old name back.
A short address of one or two characters can't be saved. After you save, share the new address. Guests need the one you saved, plus their invitation code.
What to do next
When the address is the one you want, publish the website and create an invitation code before you send the link out.
