Tasks, schedule, locations and music

Keep a to-do list, set the running order, add places guests can find, and note songs for your DJ.

Open Plan. The menu is one list. In it, open Locations, Schedule, Invitations, Music or Task list. Optional setup guide walks through the shape of the day if you want it. You can skip that guide and edit these pages directly.

Task list

The task list is for you, not for guests. A new wedding may already include a few starter tasks. Edit or delete those the same way as your own.

  1. Choose Add task, or the row Add a task.
  2. Write What needs doing?
  3. Optionally set Type, Notes, Priority (High, Medium or Low) and Status (Pending, In progress, Done or Skipped).
  4. Choose Save. Discard drops a new task you haven't saved. Remove task deletes one.

The list groups rows into In progress, Pending, Done and Skipped. A short preview of open tasks also appears on Home.

Schedule

Open Schedule. Each row is an occasion, such as the ceremony or the reception.

Choose Add occasion. That opens Add to the schedule. Pick one of the usual moments, or Start blank, then add a name, date, start and end time, and a location. Add a location first if you haven't. You can't save an occasion without a time. Usual moments come with suggested times, which you can change afterwards.

A new wedding starts with a ceremony and a reception, and does not fill in example times for those. They show Time not set — add a time until you add one. On your guests' page for the day, those say Time to be confirmed.

If you open share invitations before times are in, we'll remind you. When you already have invitation codes, we name the occasions that still need a time. You can still copy the invitation. The reminder is there so guests aren't sent a schedule with blanks you meant to fill.

Occasions can sit on different dates. A welcome drinks the night before does not have to share the wedding date. The wedding date itself is under Wedding dates.

Locations

Open Locations. This is where guests look for the ceremony, the reception and how to get there.

  1. Choose Add location, or Add a location.
  2. Add a Name, and optionally an Address, How to get there, Parking notes and a Map link.
  3. Tick Show on your public wedding website when guests should see that place. The table shows On website when it's on.
  4. Save the location.

Guests who are logged in find places under The day, then Venue & travel.

Music

Open Music. This list is for you and your DJ or band. It is not one of the pages guests open.

Choose Add song. Each row has the Song, Artist, Occasion and an Instruction: Please play, Do not play or If there's time. Copy for your DJ copies the list so you can paste it into a message.

What to do next

When the times are real, publish or update the website and tell guests if something has changed. A guest update or an email both work. An update waits on the website. An email arrives in their inbox.
