Planning seating
Seat guests for the reception and the ceremony, then download a CSV of the plan.
Seating uses people who have said they're coming. Update replies on the guest list first, or someone won't be there to place.
In the Plan menu, open Ceremony seating or Reception seating. The two plans are separate. The same person can sit in a row for the vows and at a table for the meal. Guests invited to the evening only aren't listed for seating.
Reception seating
Reception seating is the wedding breakfast.
Switch between List and Floor plan. The menu calls the list List view.
On List:
- Choose Add table.
- Set the table number, an optional name, how many seats, and any notes.
- Use Add a guest…, then Add, to place someone.
On Floor plan, drag a shape onto the canvas, then drag guests onto seats.
Export CSV at the top of the page downloads the roster, on the list and on the floor plan. The floor plan also has Export, which offers PDF (layout + roster + diet), PNG (layout only) and CSV (table roster + diet).
Ceremony seating
Ceremony seating works the same way for rows or pews.
On List, choose Add row, then assign guests. Switch to Layout when you want to see the room. Export CSV is at the top of the page. The layout's Export menu uses CSV (row roster + diet), plus the same PDF and PNG choices as the floor plan.
What to do next
Share the file with your venue when the plan is settled. Guests don't look up their own table from their wedding page. Tell them on the day, or in a guest update.
