Publishing

Introduction

Until you publish, only you can preview the site. Open Website design. The bar at the top shows your address, ending in wedded.me. For example, yournames.wedded.me.

Publish when you're ready

• Choose Copy when you want the address for an invitation.
• Preview opens the site while it is still private. After you publish, that link reads View site.
• Tick Published when guests should be able to open it. The note underneath says the site is private until you do.
• Untick Published if you need to hide it again. You'll be asked to confirm. Guests then see a coming soon page instead.

Publishing is also the moment we ask you to protect guest details with an authenticator, if you haven't already. You can choose Not yet and keep the site private. See Your account.

Share the address together with an invitation code. The address on its own does not let someone reply.

What to do next

After the site is live, add a guest update when plans change, and questions guests will ask.
